Anikó Harangi

1Aniko Harangi was born in Hungary, where she began her musical studies at the age of seven. In 1988, she entered the Ferenc Liszt School of Music, where she graduated with distinction as a chamber music teacher and performer in 1992. Since 1993, she has lived on the island of Madeira, where she teaches piano, chamber music, and works as an accompanist pianist at the Madeira Conservatory - Professional School of Arts. In 2004, she won the Grand Prize in chamber music at the “Association of Art and Education in the 21st Century” International Competition. In 2004, she was invited to be the official accompanist pianist for the “Madeira Music” International Music Competition. Since 2018, she has created and organized the “New Generation Festival” which aims to provide a platform, opportunities, and visibility for former students of the Conservatory. She is frequently invited to collaborate in prestigious competitions such as the Prémio Jovens Músicos. In addition to her teaching and artistic activities, she participates in several chamber music projects and is frequently invited to collaborate with the Madeira Classical Orchestra (ANSA).
