La Tempestad

9Founded in 2000, La Tempestad is considered by critics as a reference group in the field of historical interpretation in Spain. Performing nationally and internationally, his award-winning discography includes the first recording of the 12 London Symphonies by J. Haydn / Salomon (MMA 2012). His most recent CD, Brunetti & Lidón. At the Spanish Royal Chamber (IBS 2019), presents a patrimonial recovery work from the last third of the 18th century in the court of Madrid. Founding member of GEMA (Asociación de Grupos Españoles de Música Antigua), La Tempestad receives the support of INAEM and the Region of Murcia of ICA, and was the Resident Group in the Auditorium and Congress Center “Víctor Villegas”, in the Region of Murcia. They were awarded the Promúsico Prize 2011 from the Promúsica Association and the Dissemination Prize 2020 from the Region of Murcia. In 2015, they won two awards in the 1st edition of the GEMA Awards for Creativity and Innovation in Early Music: Best Classical Group and Best Director (Silvia Márquez). Both awards were revalidated in the 4th edition (2018). In the 2nd edition, we also received the Best Manager award (Marivic Martín). They are also winners of the Circuito Festclásica Música Antigua in 2016.
