It was in his early childhood that Christoph Hauser discovered his interest in music, especially in singing and keyboard instruments. At the age of 9, he received his first lesson with the organist of the Basilica in Ottobeuren. After finishing school, he studied piano and organ performance at the University for Music and Theatre in Munich, passing the exams with distinction. He also has taken many master classes with leading artists including Ben van Oosten, Ton Koopman, Guy Bovet and Pierre Pincemaille. He has lectured at the University for Music in Munich and the Academy of Music at the Bavarian School for the Blind and performed in radio and television broadcasts such as the Bavarian Broadcasting Company. As of 2014, Hauser was appointed the organist of the famous baroque organ at the Fuerstenfeld Minster in Fuerstenfeldbruck, built by Johann Georg Fux in 1736 with many pipes and parts of the predecessor organ from 1629 and is in charge of a well known concert series there. Besides he is the conductor of several choirs such as the Vokalensemble 1600 München, specialists for the music of the Renaissance. Hauser regularly performs in Germany and abroad, participating in concert series and well known festivals. His CD recordings are highly acclaimed.
